Den of the Water Naga: A Swords & Wizardry Mini-Adventure

I mean, really, it's a mini-adventure - formatted to fit on a 4x6 index card and thrown in your box set. This came out of an exploration of underwater maps the other day... I had fun making it, but of course it's not playtested! Map thumbnail above, download the PDF here. Get your bifocals on, old schoolers.

Looks nifty. Love the idea of an index card map. Very cool. Not sure about the Naga sharing with the leech, though, but very cool mini adventure that would be great to spring on a party to break up the uusal campsite routine.

I had my own worries about the lil' leech, but really wanted another critter in there. I just now updated its description to help assuage any naturalist concerns.

I'm a sucker for side view dungeons, I also like the idea of a dungeon on a 4x6 index card. Seems like the OSR is hitting the megadungeon and minidungeon ends of the spectrum. Thanks!

I continue to be intrigued by the microdungeon/lair concept. This is very well done.

Thanks for the comments folks - I had fun spending an afternoon making it. The underwater aspect really limits it... I'll have to try my hand at a more traditional dungeon adventure on a card sometime.

I converted this into a postcard and mailed it off to someone today. Dungeon on a Postcard! :)

Very cool! I've been condensing things down (characters, monsters, spells) to fit on playing cards - so this is right up my alley. :)
