Not a D&D item, just a shout out and thanks to the good folks at Oakshire Brewing for their tasty seasonal brown ale, the Ill-Tempered Gnome. Between Oakshire and Ninkasi (named after a Sumerian goddess), that 100 mile diet is looking ever more doable for us Eugenians. Long live the local brew!
Me, too. You can get some decent beers here in Korea, but there aren't any good local beers. Only imports.
In fact, it was only about two months ago that the regulations were relaxed and microbrews are now possible here. I'm not holding my breath for any to hit the market soon, though.
It's always nice to have some quality beer to drink as you play D&D. Of course, Korean baekseju (100 year wine) works well, too...
Oh yeah, Hobgoblin's great stuff! We're pretty lucky here, there's a place in town ("The Bierstein") about 10 minutes from me that has over a 1000 different refridgerated beers at any given time. Ridiculous.
Eugene, Oregon. I just found this picture on wikipedia: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/31/Craft_Breweries_Per_Capita_%28US%29.png : we do seem to have more than our fair share. The Bierstein's MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/thebierstein

Color me jealous...although the Amish four grain here in Lancaster is pretty tasty.

Funny this reminds me of one of my old time favorites, Hobgoblin Beer, a dark English brown ale by Wychwood Brewery.
I've got to see if I can find this little fellow.

That's awesome ze bulette. Where is this ale strewn wonderland?
I used to know a girl who worked in a restaurant/bar in England that had that kind of selection. Wild stuff.
