While getting ready to post these, I was listening / watching Radiohead on YouTube, and saw this video which seemed somewhat eerily apropos.

Cupcakes, time with dad and some dungeon mastery - sounds like a great night! I like how the boss lurks in the middle of the dungeon, ready to crush hapless adventurers. Awesome!
That video was pretty heavy...
I know - sorry for the heavy video, just made an impression on me after such a great time with Joe - he's my nephew actually. :)
Here's the back of the map he drew, it has an ice dragon and some PCs, including a 7 foot tall Magic User (?!)...http://imgur.com/y0v3U.jpg
Any chance I get to share my hobby with my girls is always awesome. Being both a miniatures and RPG gamer, I get some good chances to do craftsy stuff with them like building model terrain, but they both love maps and my oldest is even preparing an adventure for us for the Warriors adventure game.
And yes, that is a pretty heavy video.
That was a great video. Thanks for sharing that. (Though I wonder how much the corporate ties for MTV exploit that same stuff)
That is a pretty challenging dungeon he made. I like the BOSS room...it shows the influence of video gaming. The character drawings are very good too. It is great that you foster his imagination like that.
Sweet! I can't wait until my sprog is old enough to get into all this craziness. He'll be five in a couple of weeks, and already he's playing an abreviated form of wargaming using his bionicles and a d6 :)"Dad, I shot your head off! Hahaha!"
Good times :)

Hi ze bulette! Yes, I've read it, good stuff :) I've been lurking around your blog for a while now. In a completely non-creepy way, of course.
