I read on Reddit that one of Zak's players had twittered that she was being paid for playing D&D, so I asked him about it and was surprised at his reply that on that day she was paid - and that it was because "We taped the first episode of what will no doubt be the longest running reality-tv series about porn chicks, models and strippers playing D&D ever."
Whoa! Well, I'm sure the franchise will survive however it turns out. Given that he's in Hollywood, I wonder if this has actually been picked up somewhere or if it's just a lark. I wonder what the D&D community's response will be...

I look forward to seeing if it gets picked up by a cable network or if it will be available via subscription online. I'm not sure what the distribution channel will be, but I think it's so awesome that Zak is such a kick ass ambassador of D&D.
omg, viral marketing !!! burn it!! haha, just playing. I'd watch it though my wife would just roll her eyes then make me sleep on the couch.
haha, yeah same here Mike - although i enjoy reading game journals and would be happy watching just about any session for awhile.
I'd love to see a show just about them trying to pitch the concept for it around Hollywood, that could be hilarious.
We might also get a new Chick tract out of it, too!
I think I'd pay Ms. Grey to play D&D with me too.
>:)

Grim-
No, THEY pay US.
They don't get to play,
I don't mind the porn stars as long is it's not all about them. It has to be about the game, too and hopefully that in greater degree than the porn stars. Unless said porn stars actually wear chain mail bikinis...I'm just sayin'
Kat--
It will be about taking hours and hours of raw footage and trying to make it watchable.
If the show helps the public realize that A) gamers are just regular people and B) porn stars are just regular people then it will have provided a valuable service to both groups.
