Role Playing Games as a sort of Exquisite Corpse

I was looking over a poem I'd collaborated on with two others some years ago and thinking of more current project ideas when it occurred to me that role playing games are in many ways a type of Exquisite Corpse, or at least similar to it. They're also like a type of improvisational theatre.
